In order to avoid an athlete’s eligibility changing during the year, there is an age cut-off date. How old you are on MAY 31 of this year will determine your “competition age” for that entire season until May 31 of the next year. In other words, if you are 14 on May 31, you compete as a “14 year old” for that entire season, even if you turn 15 on June 1. Following are the age brackets and the corresponding HEAT teams:
Age on May 31, 2007:
Inferno & Firestorm 15 - 18 Blaze 12 - 14 Flames 9 - 11 Sparks 6 - 8 Embers 3 - 5 Information We will teach all the necessary skills for the beginning level teams, experience is not a requirement but a commitment to learn is HEAT All Stars attend Summer/Fall Parades and performances and Winter/Spring competitions. HEAT Cheer All-Stars consists of several teams- subject to change as we continue to grow |
